Hello I am going to try to share everything as I go along. I picked up a preowned tank and stand from a local guy that had this sitting in a barn. I decided to make a go for my first reef system. This stand had side panels made of Masonite that had swollen from moisture. The structural components of this stand are all made from 2x4 stock very heavyI had to remove those and replaced with plywood. Sanded down the rest of the bottom of the stand and gave it two coats of fresh paint and in the sump are and where I will be having my ATO and my sump I used flex seal rubber spray to stop any moisture from swelling the new panels. Tonight I will bring in the tank that has taken about a week to clean inside and out and setting it in place. I still have to refinish the upper half of the stand with the canopy. As I progress I will post more photos [Image: bef467f62c1880c1948747b9e892ae79.jpg]
[Image: 021b1388cfd5d4a3fa02f55cd731f59b.jpg] step two complete here is the tank on the stand. Tomorrow starting the upper half of the bookcase stand which includes the canopy

Here is the bookcase canopy installed [Image: f711b2f378622e7651fd01a27c01f0a6.jpg]

Ok here is an update on the 155 it is cycled and I have added a couple new inhabitants to it. They are 2 Nemo clowns as my granddaughter says and if it would come out there is a hippo tang in there as well but it is shy and hiding[Image: 8c047d7541c80cc76abb7b8e2b5b237f.jpg][Image: cbf7929adef7dbd702777a1c17017e07.jpg]

So thanks to Drew and my cousin I have added some zoas, bubble tips, pallies, candy canes and few other corals to my tank and it is starting to get some color. I also have added a clean up crew thanks to reef cleaners for the awesome selection and to everyone for the quality.
