Apex EL or Controller?

Is an extra $300 for controller over the EL version worth it? What can't the EL do?

I just saw that BRS is already out of stock on their version. I also heard they won’t have more until next summer.

If they get more.... is a trial thing.. they had 70 left when I posted this.. they were gone when I was going to pull the string at 8 pm.. 158 units in less than 24hrs. It's not a huge difference in cost from the their regular LE package, except you can split the $500 into 2 purchases... start with monitoring only.. then add the power bar later. Still looking for folks inputs though who know more about the LE vs full controller.

From what I understand (No APEX here) you can't measure salinity with the EL unless you get a expansion module and the probe, the probe doesn't plug directly into the EL.
